About our Blog Author:  Tami Murphy, PHR works for Pinnacle Partners in a Business Development role.  Tami has over 16 years in the professional staffing & recruiting industry.  She has experience providing professional staff to multiple industries such as the federal government, accounting/finance  and healthcare entities.  She has been an active member of IndySHRM since 2002.  Tami most recently served as President-Elect and has held several other board and committee level service positions.  She also sits on the board of Indiana SHRM State Council.  Tami holds a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Ball State University.

Did you know that you can stay connected with IndySHRM through our Facebook fan page, our LinkedIn Group, the IndySHRM Blog and Google Groups? Okay, I know that was a bit overwhelming so let me explain. These are just some additional ways you can stay connected with your IndySHRM network. You will continue to receive our monthly newsletter with all of the “happenings” and other notable items for the month. We have also begun a weekly reminder of our events every Monday to continue to keep you up-to-date on the most recent upcoming programs.

Our LinkedIn Group is a great interactive social tool. It is a great way for our members to connect and network. IndySHRM posts a lot of HR and job related content and members use it as a forum to discuss best practices and post HR helpful hints.

The IndySHRM Blog offers valuable content regarding IndySHRM along with other community events, call for nominations and volunteer opportunities. If you have HR related or even overall “living life” content to share please send it to Karen Seketa at communications@indyshrm.org.

Facebook is, well, it’s just fun. It is a fun way to get to know members on a more personal level while providing content that can assist with the growth and advancement of their careers. We post our events, blog posts and other general information here as well.
