If you’ve attended any IndySHRM events in the past, then you already know that its par for the course to receive a follow-up email from Mark Records via admin@indyshrm.org inviting you to complete a short survey in order to provide your feedback about the event. These surveys provide critical feedback to the IndySHRM Board of Directors and various committees, and help drive programming details such as topics of interest, speakers, event location, and venue amenities. We also rely heavily on the specific comments that survey respondents share when completing a survey form.

We all lead busy lives and sometimes its hard to justify the time it takes (even if only a few short questions) to complete a survey relative to the other priorities heaping on top of our plates. IndySHRM recognizes that and is making changes to reward you for your time spent in providing us the oh-so-important feedback that we need in order to continue planning the relevant programming and content that keeps you engaged as a member.

Effectively immediately, please note that for every IndySHRM meeting, all survey respondents for that event will be entered into a drawing for a free program credit to be used 90 days from the date of the original event attended. That’s right…you have a chance to win a free meeting each time you submit a survey and share your feedback about an event that you recently attended.

We hope that this exciting change will drive more feedback from IndySHRM event attendees. We know that feedback will only help to improve our chapter and the resources we provide to members and visitors. Each meeting’s drawing winner will be contacted and provided with a voucher for use on another meeting within the 90-day time period. Winners may also be announced on IndySHRM social media sites, as well as, during announcements at future events.

If you have any questions, please contact Executive Director, Mark Records, at mark@mprecords.com. And, don’t forget your other opportunity to earn rewards from IndySHRM by writing content for the IndySHRM blog for a chance to win one of three $100 gift cards at the end of the year
